  I'm glad that a few of the reviewers were so pleased with their purchases, but if you ever need service from these people look out. I shipped a gas log burner to their sister company/manufacturer, Gas and Wood Energy, a/k/a Appalachian Stove for service. I was told that I could receive refund for any parts purchased that did not solve the problem we were having with excess noise from the burner. They claimed to have replaced the igniter assembly, but it did not solve the problem and what they sent back was indistinguishable from what we sent, and no old parts were included. After multiple emails and phone calls, I was told that a technician disposed of parts removed from the assembly, and Craig, apparently the owner, said that "only in a perfect world" could he have temporarily retained the parts he claimed were removed until the problem was corrected. So, several months later I'm in the same spot, and if not for the help of my credit card company would be out the cost of parts I didn't need along with all shipping charges. One individual treated my wife rudely, the business was generally indifferent to the situation, and the business would take no responsibility for its actions. I filed a dispute with the credit card company and they decided for me, refunding the full purchase. I filed a BBB complaint that was sent to 1048 Patton Ave., Asheville, which is listed by the state as the registered agent mailing address for both Willow Creek Hearth & Leisure as well as Gas and Wood Energy, LLC, and they told the BBB that I was not one of their customers. I wish I had never contacted this business, whatever name they go by, and surely will not go back in the future.
